Book Sale
We had a very excitable group of children rumaging through the sale books at lunchtime today.
We made a small profit which will go towards funding our Book Week.

Book Week
Our Book Week will be held next term in week three (27th to 31st May)
Our theme is Children Then and Now (how they lived, worked and played) to fit in with the 140th Celebrations.
We will be putting more information out early next term.

New Zealand Post Children's Book Awards
Finalists have just been announced. We will have copies of these books for the children to borrow very soon. We do have some already from our buying last year. For further details of the finalists and see nzpostbookawards.co.nz


Book Sale: Week 10

We are having a sale of books withdrawn from the library at the end of last year. Each year we check an area of books in the library for currency, state of repair and relevance to the current curriculum. Many of the books discarded are in reasonable condition and will still be of interest to children.

For Juniors: Tuesday 9^th April 1.15 at in the Library

For Year 3 and up: Thursday 11^th April at 1.15 in the Library

Most books will be 50 cents or a $1.00, though a few will be a little more. The sales will be in the Library at 1.15. (After children have eaten their lunches). This is a sale for children only.
